Problem Statement:

As a Wells Fargo customer - I’d like the ability to prefill my information when applying for a new credit card account. How might we authenticate a user leveraging their current Single Sign On information to authentication a user & allow customers the ability to quickly apply for a loan, credit card, and a line of credit.

Objective:

  • Authenticate users during credit applications using Single Sign On or SSN to verify identity and reduce cost per authentication via 3rd party API.

Key Results:

  • Remove expensive 3rd party vendor API Calls for Identity Verification

  • Reduce the amount of steps needed for consumers to borrow money during applications

  • Utilize current customer Single Sign On for Identify Verification

  • Add ability to leverage SSN & Phone number for Identify Verification
